As any other precious metal, silver over time oxidises. If you care for it, silver can become over years even more beautiful and form luxurious patina.
1. Wash silver with mild soap water and dry it with a soft cloth. If the dirt is set in, use a silver cleanser, but do not wipe silverware with anything else than a shining cloth or gentle material. If you rub it with paper towels, you can scrape it.
2. Avoid wearing silver in chlorinated water, because chlorine can make it lose colour.
3. Store silver jewellery in a cold, dry and dark space. It is recommended that you wrap it in a soft cloth and store it in a special bag.
